Embarrassment experience:
A long time ago, when I was waiting for the bus on my way to university, one girl came to me and said "hello how are you my dear". I had no idea who she could be. Then started a rice in my brain to try to find out her name or some thing I can rely on, but nothing. She was talking and talking.....I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to say. I HAD NEVER KNOW WHO WAS THIS NICE GIRL!!!

hehe~mabey you have short-term memory!! How could you have no idea about her !! Anyway,you should ask her name when next time you meet !!
next time, if you meet her on the street or some where else, remember to ask the name in polite way!! I suppose she won't mad...^^
I think you can try to remember her by other ways not only by name. So for example you can ask her how your work or something is, like that...
